QA Engineer - AIA (Cris)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester who will play a key role in ensuring high-quality software releases. This role focuses on both hands-on testing and coordination efforts to validate that all software changes have adequate test coverage and documentation before going live. You will help define test plans, write and execute test cases, track gaps in test coverage, and ensure that documentation meets internal standards.

Responsabilities:

Facilitate test coverage planning: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to ensure test coverage is identified and documented for all features and fixes.

Write and execute test cases: Develop manual test cases based on acceptance criteria, technical specifications, and edge-case considerations. Some knowledge of automated testing is a bonus.

Document testing activities: Maintain clear and organized documentation including test plans, test case repositories, and test execution results.

Review coverage gaps: Proactively identify untested areas or risky changes and flag them to the QA lead or development team before release.

Participate in release readiness reviews: Validate that required test cases have been executed and documented, and help ensure confidence in each release.

Support regression testing: Contribute to maintaining and executing regression test suites to validate core functionality during release cycles.

Support automated testing efforts: Assist with writing and maintaining automated tests, or in identifying areas suitable for automation.

Track and report issues: Log detailed, reproducible bugs and work with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.
